Who we are
Teach Me is a math practice app for children in kindergarten through 8th grade. It is run by [legal name of the company], [mailing address]. Questions about privacy go to [privacy contact email].
Parents set up the account, not children
A parent or legal guardian creates the family account and agrees to this policy before any child uses the app. Children never sign up, never type an email address, and are never asked for personal details. We ask parents for as little as we need to run the app.

We do not collect photos, voice, location, contacts, school names, last names or birthdays. We do not show ads, we do not track children across other sites, and we never sell or rent personal information.
Who else handles the data
We only share personal information with service providers that help run the app, and only for that purpose:
- Cloudflare hosts the app and its database.
- Google Fonts serves the typefaces, which means a child's device requests font files from Google. [decide: keep, or self-host the fonts so no request goes to Google]
- Anthropic (only if AI hints are turned on) receives the math problem and the child's answer to write a hint. We never send a child's name, the parent's email, or any other personal detail.
We will not share a child's personal information with anyone else unless a parent gives separate consent, or the law requires it.
How long we keep it
We keep a family's information while the account is in use. When a parent deletes the family, we delete every child's profile, progress, rewards, feedback and usage history right away. Accounts with no activity for [12 months] will be deleted. Short-term security records, such as failed sign-ins, are cleared within minutes to days.
What parents can do
- See everything: the Parents area shows each child's name, grade, rewards and progress.
- Change it: edit a child, rewards, username, password or PIN at any time under Family settings.
- Delete it: Family settings → Delete family and all data removes everything. You can also remove a single child.
- Stop collection: deleting the family stops all further collection. You can also email [privacy contact email] and we will do it for you.
Security
Passwords and PINs are never stored in readable form. The app is served only over encrypted connections, sign-in attempts are rate limited, and only the operator can reach the admin console. [summary of the written security program]
Changes
If we change how we collect or use children's information, we will ask parents to agree again before the change applies to their family.
